Trading notes

  • Only draw obvious levels. Do not draw minor / LTF levels.
  • Pay attention to the close of the candle when taking immediates. An immediate retest candle  must close above the level
  • Obvious lows or highs do not have a big gap between them. Don't worry about a liquidity grab when taking an immediate
  • When in doubt of taking a trade with good PA because there's a level slightly above or some equal highs that could be taken, you can count the total pushes. If it is push 3 or more, you can take it
  • if a medium to very steep pullback respects the structure of the pullback itself, it is likely going to continue in that direction and breaking the structure point
  • Pay attention to overlapping candles, although being it a few: it is distribution or accumulation. These areas can get a retest
  • There's a difference between pullback trendline and trending trendlines. Pullback trendlines are weaker. So do not worry to anticipate a pulback trendline when it has 3 touches already.
  • Do not forget about QML.
  • Rules of strong acc / distr
    • Duration (at least 25) MUST
    • Strong break-out of the range MUST
    • Choppiness MUST at least one of the two
      • Candle bodies overlapping
      • Wicks on top and below of the range
    • Liquidity grab NICE TO HAVE
  • The strength of the reaction from retesting a range depends on the strength of the range itself. With a strong range, you can expect a strong retest reaction.
  • Do not trade into 4H highs or into resistance levels
  • Do not trade into 4H lows or into support levels
  • Do not trade into trending trendlines
  • V rejection leading into ranges are likely to be re-accumulation
  • Pay attention to lows that gets broken and later on the new low is used as support. This is a strong sign
  • Pay attention to highs that gets broken and later on the new high is used as resistance. This is a strong sign.
